Christmas Party Set by Shafter 20 30 Club
The annual Christmas Party for children, sponsored by the Shafter 20 30 Club, will be held Friday December 19 in front of the American Legion Building at the County Park if weather permits. Otto Handel, party chairman, announced the event. A 30 foot tree from California Hot Springs decorates the setup and kiddies bags filled with treats are ready. If rain or issues force a postponement, the party moves to December 22 or 23.

City Xmas Decorations Go Up Sunday in Shafter
