Aggressive Moroski Leads Shafter Hoop Squad
Shafter High School coach Hank Moroski says aggressiveness must define the 1953-54 basketball team as they field a shorter, less experienced roster with only one returning letterman. With football over, practice began and the A squad trains across multiple sites as Wasco and Coalinga loom as South Sequoia League title threats. The season opens December 4 at Wasco with the league opener January 8 against Wasco at Tiger gym.
