Santa Claus Will Visit Christmas Festival in Shafter
Santa will visit Shafter on Friday December 4 as part of the second annual Christmas Festival Fair hosted by the Shafter Junior Woman's Club and the Chamber of Commerce Merchants Division. The festival runs December 3–4 at Shafter Memorial Hall with displays by local merchants, prize drawings, and special events including fashion shows and a hot dog dinner. Santa arrives at 6 p.m. Friday, with a grand prize drawing at 8 p.m. Friday. Proceeds fund community projects while tickets are available from merchants or by calling 746-4069.
