SHS elects board officers at November meeting
Shafter Historical Society officers were re elected at the November board meeting at the Shafter Depot Museum. Art Kadel remains president with Dwayne Armstrong as vice president Helen Gaede as secretary and Stan Wilson as treasurer Virginia Bender continues as membership chair Gretchen Kirk joins the board and Kadel and Armstrong win another three year terms The group approved a bell plaque for the museum grounds and noted grants pending for the Hitchcock Hotel Committee The society plans a future dedication ceremony for the bell at the Richland Santa Fe School site
