Tigers Beat the Generals at Wasco in season finale
Shafter Generals closed their season with a 69-13 defeat to arch rival Wasco. Derick Barton returned the opening kickoff for a touchdown to give Shafter an early lead, but Wasco dominated with four first-half TDs including a 92 yard kickoff return by Austin Tijerina. Tigers pulled away in the second half as Ricky Ishida praised the team’s unity and growth under his staff.
