Colonels Lose Heartbreaker to Wasco in League Title Duel
The Shafter Colonels fall 36 33 to Wasco in a high stakes battle for the league crown. Shafter led early as Alex Rodriguez opened scoring, Wasco stormed back with a potent running game and a late 82 yard fumble restoration, the Tigers pulling ahead for good with 2:47 remaining. Milwee and Rodriguez produced multiple rushing drives for Shafter but a late TD pass could not overcome Wasco’s late surge and failed PAT.
