Halloween Party at Watson Barn Delights Pentecostal Guests
The Homer Watson barn on Lerdo Road hosted a Halloween party for about 175 members of the Pentecostal Church of God. Attendees walked through a Horror Chamber while feats such as tattooing and “broken glass” barefoot stunts thrilled revelers and a fortune teller added tears of laughter. The missionary ladies provided a taco feast and Nickel, editor of the church magazine Full Gospel Men's Voice, won the longest secrecy contest.
