ITTC weighs container depot at Shafter to cut empty trips

Rotary marks 65 years in Shafter with plaque dedication
Shafter Rotary Club and guests gathered at the Shafter Historical Society Museum to dedicate a plaque and a restored cotton picker in memory of four former presidents Tut Anderson Tom Leigh Steve Finnan and Bob Millwee who served 125 years combined. The cotton picker, restored and displayed, is one of a kind outside the Smithsonian. The event recognized the presidents families and the wives who supported their community projects including parks ballfields the museum scholarships and polio eradication efforts.
