Services are planned for Willis Ruben Sawyer 56 of 786 Fresno Avenue Shafter who died Sunday at a Wasco hospital. The Rev Edward M Rhoades will officiate with burial at Shafter Memorial Park. Sawyer born September 15 1913 in Independence Missouri moved to Shafter ten years ago and worked as a farm worker for Waybill Farms in Lost Hills. He is survived by his widow Juanita five sons a daughter two sisters two grandsons and two granddaughters.
