Shafter to raze 75-foot water tower on Central Valley Hwy
City council voted to accept California Tank and Steel Co. Fresno bid of 2450 dollars to remove the 75-foot water tower built in February 1930. The structure has been unused since new storage tanks were installed and demolition will begin later this year.
