California led with 38.3 million dollars in carnations chrysanthemums gladioli and roses in 1966, while air shipments rose from 15 million pounds in 1956 to 30 million pounds in 1966. San Diego tops counties with 14.3 million, followed by Santa Clara 12.2, Alameda 10.6, San Mateo 10.1, Los Angeles 9.5, Orange 4.7, Santa Barbara 4, and Ventura 3.2 million.
