Catholic Bishop Braulio Sanchez Fuentes of Oaxaca will visit Shafter on Wednesday May 29. A Spanish mass and confessions will be held at St. Therese's Church 300 West Lerdo Highway with Our Lady of Guadalupe venerations. Confessions at 7 30 a.m. Mass will be followed by a church hall reception and live band entertainment. Public invited.
