Richland School District announces groundbreaking for Sequoia Elementary on Tuesday May 25 2004 at 9 am at the Fresno and Manuel Avenue site. Architects Ordiz Melby and Lundgren will serve as court firm with 22 classrooms a library office and multi purpose room on 15 acres.

SHS senior Carrera Harris signed with Northwestern University in Illinois for a Division 1 swimming career starting in the fall. The 18 year old, born in Canada, has extensive senior and Junior National experience and holds multiple California high school and regional records.
