Funeral services were held at the United Methodist Church in Wasco for Tilton Tracy a longtime ranch executive killed in a cattle hunting accident in Fresno County. The service was conducted by Rev. Robert Schwartz with burial in Wasco Cemetery. Tracy survived by his wife Kathryn and three sons.

Four Injured Shafter Woman and Child Crash Fatalities
A Shafter woman and her 4-year-old foster child died after a two vehicle crash near Wasco on Saturday. Hazel Newcomb, 51, and her foster child Lissa Freeman, 4, were killed. Three other foster children, Yvonne and Yvette, 5, and Christa Freeman, 5, were treated as stable at Wasco Hospital with minor injuries. The three were in the Newcomb vehicle and are reported to be recovering. Services for the victims were announced by Wasco area pastors.
