Memorial plaque to become county permanent record at Gardner Field
War Assets Administration notified A. W. Noon of Taft California supervisor for the Fourth District Kern County that the memorial plaque on a stone will be a permanent county record for the military installation. The plaque will first rest at Taft Fort before relocation to Gardner Field after temporary buildings are removed. The community presented the plaque to Gardner Field.
