Fourth Annual Jr Golf Camp Draws 80 At Wasco Valley Rose
At Wasco Valley Rose Golf Course last week, 80 youths aged 7 to 17 attended the four day junior golf camp. PGA pro Joe Haggerty said the event teaches putting, chipping, swing mechanics, grip, etiquette, and a trick shot session with five PGA officials present. The $45 program, sponsored by the Wasco Valley Rose Golf Course, drew participants from Wasco and Shafter and hopes for a future speaker from the PGA Ladies Tour.
