Girls summer basketball underway at SHS
SHS hosts a summer league under the Shafter Recreation and Park District Youth Sports Program. Ed Edgman leads the Lady Generals with Rod Creekbaum assisting. Participants include Wasco High School and Bakersfield area squads from North, South, East, and Bakersfield High Schools. Games occur Mondays and Wednesdays at the old SHS gym while the new gym is repaired.
