Richardson shines in all star football showdown

Shafter High School's Mark Richardson starred as the County All Star team beat the City 21 to 20 last Thursday in front of about 5,500 fans. Richardson accounted for 15 points, rushing for a TD, receiving a pass for another, and kicking three PATs, with Ramey and Young keying a 14-6 second quarter. The game benefited the Special Olympics, and coach Jan Stuebbe praised the County's teamwork as Richardson noted the county was more cohesive.
