Kern County Farm Labor Camps Await Disposal Offers
Clifford E. Craig reports the USDA Production and Marketing Administration has received no response to disposal offers for federally owned Farm Labor Centers in California. Centers at Arvin Lamont North Shafter South Shafter and Wasco were to be sold to eligible buyers under Public Law 298. Farmers associations housing authorities and city governments have been sent offer packets. public agencies and non profits may submit offers by contacting Kern County ACA Committee at 2405 M Street Bakersfield.
