Stabbing Death in Shafter After Late Night Fight
A 32 year old Shafter man, Christopher John Aguirre, died after a stabbing Tuesday in the 300 block of Village Avenue around 11 p.m. Two suspects were involved. Alfredo Gomez Gonzales, 30, was arrested at 3:25 a.m. June 13 and booked into Kern County Jail. The second suspect remains at large with a warrant issued. Police say the stabbing may have been retaliation for an earlier dispute.
