Old West Displays Planned for California State Fair

Holt Reports On Progress of Highway
Norman Holt, secretary of the Central Valley Highway Association, told the Shafter Chamber of Commerce that one third of the route would be improved this year. The Bakersfield to Selma highway via Shafter Wasco Corcoran and Hanford will be in good travelable condition. Holt thanked the chamber for support and urged attendance at the association's annual meeting on Tuesday June 24 in Corcoran to elect officers and conduct business.
