Shafter CBMC Plans Dodger Game Trip and Sea Fishing
The Shafter Christian Business Men's Committee will travel to Los Angeles for a Dodger game aboard a 47 seat chartered bus. Thirty five members have signed up and others are urged to sign up before seats fill. A planned June deep sea fishing trip is in the works with details pending.

Shafter United Methodist Church will send three delegates to the 127th California Nevada Annual Conference in Stockton June 4 8. A new assembly hall at 3001 Sunset Avenue Madera funded with over 100000 in in kind help and an estimated 550000 in materials will serve San Joaquin Valley congregations from Bakersfield to Stockton with space for 1800 in the main auditorium and parking for 500.
