Three hundred eighty students from Richland Junior High and Shafter High graduate this week. Richland Junior High plans 224 eighth graders Wednesday evening with ceremonies at 7 p.m. Shafter High School will confer 156 diplomas Thursday evening in the stadium. The program features theme My Responsibility in a Changing World, student speakers, district officials presenting awards, and diplomas handed by the board president. A reception follows at Richland Cafeteria.
