Kappa Nu Chapter Installs Officers
Kappa Nu Chapter passed the gavel to Mrs. Dan Weitz to officiate a new officer slate. The officers include Mrs. O. D. Handel VP Mrs. Dave Muir Neuman CC Sec Mrs. Al Anderson sergeant-at-arms Mrs. Herb Neuman historian Mrs. John Fuller pledge supervisor and Mrs. Tut Anderson publicity chair. Mrs. C. J. Vignolo served as installing officer and secret sisters were revealed after the ceremony.

Trophies awarded at Women’s Association dinner in Wasco
At Barnetts Steak House in Wasco on May 26, the Women’s Association dinner was presided by Mrs. Tom Tucker. Club Championship went to Tillie Aller of Bakersfield, runner up Helma Anderson, and Consolation to June Smith. Flight winners included Jerry Ogle and Alice Yeates. several ladies received small trophies engraved I broke a hundred.

198 graduates from Richland School celebrated Thursday evening May 4 at 7:00 p.m. Ceremonies featured three student speakers Kathy Berg Dale Nickel and Martin Craig. The Richland Girls Glee Club sung, Richland Band provided music, and diplomas were presented by Principal C. Clay Hale with Shafter High School Principal Arthur Johnson accepting the class.
