Father Dana Howard will resign his position at St Mark's Church in Shafter effective July 31 and celebrate his last Mass July 29 at 9 30 a.m. A special guest preacher from Mount Calvary Monastery Santa Barbara will speak at the farewell Mass with a chamgrne reception to follow. He will enter the Order of the Holy Cross at Holy Cross Monastery West Park New York on August 29 and plans further study in liturgy at Notre Dame.
