Richland to Hold Public Hearing on District Proposal

Price Increases At Shafter Press In California
Prices will rise due to new Sacramento taxes affecting newspapers and candy. Shafter Press will charge 35 cents per edition starting July 31, with subscriptions at 17 dollars per year for Kern County residents, 19 dollars outside the county, and 22 dollars for out of state residents.
