Shafter Stingrays host season kickoff after two early meets at Wasco and North of the River Aqua Aces pool. Dana Nickelsen led individuals with a 3rd in 50 yard breaststroke while Matt Leonard and teammates earned multiple placings in the Wasco meet including a 200 free relay win and several top five finishes across age groups.
