Shafter residents build homes for the Lord in Mexico
Twenty seven Shafter residents and Congregational Church members traveled to Ensenada Mexico from June 9 to 14 to build three homes in four and a half days funded by the church and the Shafter Rotary Club. Under Pastor Mike Kotrla they poured slabs learned to level ground mix cement and handed over keys to three new homes in a mission that stressed service over self.
