The ceremony took place Saturday afternoon July 3 at St. John’s Presbyterian Church in San Francisco. Marion Dennis wore satin with a chapel train and orange blossom crown. Gilbert Adams, formerly Maple School faculty, will teach at Beardsley school next term. A reception followed with sandwiches, punch, and wedding cake. The couple expect to reside in Bakersfield soon to arrange living accommodations.
