For information call Mrs Evans at Pioneer 6 4685 or Mr John Bargett Chief Observer at Pioneer 6 2202. The Shafter Post is located at 702 California Avenue. Training meetings every sixty days begin Feb 27 at 1 30 p.m. All volunteers should attend as 24 hour alert has ceased but training continues.

Dorothy Hood Weds Kenneth McWhorter in Pentecostal Church
Dorothy Hood and Kenneth McWhorter married Sunday afternoon at 2 30 in the Pentecostal Church of God with Reverend Wesley Williams officiating. The bride wore white lace over satin with pearl crown veil and gardenias. A J McWhorter served as best man. A reception followed in the church annex.
