The coroner’s jury declared the Lost Hills death a homicide. Clyde Morgan was charged with wielding a knife in a quarrel over wine. witnesses testified Morgan struck Clayton three times as he backed away. Clayton died minutes after a severed thigh artery. Deputy Osborne described finding the body in a pickup near Parks ranch. Morgan’s arrest followed 24 hours later.
