Gas Curtailment Not To Affect Local Users
Local natural gas supplies in southern California will not be affected by the War Production Board curtailment order issued February 16 in Washington. F S Wade of Southern California Gas Co says residential and commercial users may continue cooking, water heating and refrigeration, but central space heating may be limited unless installed before March 1, 1942. The order aims to ensure a continuous gas supply for defense industries and essential civilian uses while restricting new space heating installations and deliveries in specified areas.
