Shafter Water System Details Include Wells and Tank
The Shafter water system serves with six deep wells, 29 miles of mains, a 750000 gallon storage tank and two booster pumps. Wells are 700 feet deep or more with water pumped from below 600 feet. Water is tested twice weekly for bacterial contamination and organic chemicals. Water is of excellent quality at this time.
