Word arrived in Shafter of the birth of a baby boy to Mr and Mrs Everett Devine in Santiago Chile. The child named Patrick David arrived February 8 at 1030 p m weighing ten pounds two ounces. Grandparents are Mr and Mrs Forrest Woods and Mr and Mrs Eugene Devine of Shafter.
Ernest Graf, director of music at Shafter High School, has acted as Virginia's tutor for the past two years, assisting in nearby communities with musical education and instruction.
