Shafter Racing Stables now rated among the finest harness strings in the United States will enter more than thirty horses in the Santa Anita Harness races starting April 2. Camp and Lachenmaier sent twenty horses to Del Mar for training, while Neuman and Crawford shipped twelve, with training planned at Santa Anita by March 15. Three Year Old Grandson Dies in Bakersfield
Funeral services were held yesterday in Bakersfield for Philmore Prezler the three year old grandson of Mrs. Emil Goehring of Shafter and son of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Prezler. He became ill suddenly and died within hours. Mrs. Prezler is the former Olivia Goehring.
