Adventist Craftsman Displays Israelites Temple Model
F. H. Boettger, custodian at Clinton Seminary’s Adventist church, built a hand crafted miniature of the Tabernacle described in Scripture. The five week, 16 hour per day project in 1925 recreates the sanctuary and furniture with copper, linen, and gold detailing, including the Holy and Most Holy rooms, the Ark, Mercy Seat, and the bronze altar. It will be shown at the church corner Lerdo Highway and Poplar Street for several days, inviting ministers and Bible students to study its exact proportions.
