Senior Center Lunch Menu and Reservations Required
Reservations must be made a day in advance for lunch at the W.C. Walker Senior Center in Shafter and Wasco. Lunch is served at 11 45 a m with suggested donations of 1 50 for senior adults and spouses, 3 50 for others. Menu includes chicken patty meal February 15, taco salad February 16, tuna sandwich February 17, Polish sausage February 21, and black eyed peas February 22. The program highlights decay risks, importance of baby teeth, and early dentist visits. Parents are notified of decay and referred to pediatric dentists in Bakersfield. free treatment is available at the clinic. This is the fourth year in five years the clinic has visited Shafter.
