A free Jazz concert will be held at the Fox Theatre in Bakersfield on Monday, February 16 at 7 p.m. The 18 piece United States Air Force Band of the Golden West Commanders Jazz Ensemble will be performing. Shafter Post Office Opens Passport Applications

The Shafter Post Office now accepts passport applications to simplify travel planning. Officer-In-Charge Georgette Breedveld says applicants can file locally, bring birth certificate and ID, and choose expedited service to receive passports in about two weeks.
