Cash Position of California General Fund Reported Strong
Fresno area readers note: Sacramento reports the State General Fund began 1970 with a stronger cash position than early 1969. By December 31, 1969 expenditures ran about 242.2 million above revenues while temporary loans from special funds stood at 109 million. Revenues rose 7.42 percent in six months to 1.7685 billion, driven by higher taxable income and automated tax billing.
