AARP Installation Meeting in Shafter December 15
The AARP Chapter 2809 installation at W C Walker Senior Center installed Abe Isaac as president Russ Hamman as vice president Katherine Nevison as secretary Alma Smith as treasurer with Ann Stoller on the nominating committee and Geraldine Hamlin Laura Hare Harlin Wilson as board members. Retiring president Harlin Wilson received a certificate and gift. A USA flag donation was announced, and Shafter High School choir performed Christmas numbers. Frank Kendrick spoke on Alzheimer's disease. Next meeting is January 19. chapter is Kern County's largest with 344 members.
