Richland RSD Board Accepts Stone Resignation At Meeting
The Richland School District board accepted Dr. Vera Stone’s resignation effective January 1, 1987. Stone plans to take a position in Rosemead and noted a citizen committee could help set criteria for the board’s ultimate hiring decision. The meeting also approved a 7 percent pay raise for several employee groups and ratified the Richland Teachers Association contract three to two.

At the December 9 meeting the Lerdo School Board discussed local assistance reconstruction plans and project timing.
