Jewelry valued at an estimated 2500 was reported stolen from Mrs. Milton Whistler of 525 Sierra Ave. The major item taken was a ring valued at 1800, last seen December 6. Minor damage noted when a car driven by Billy Milam collided with a parked car at Munser and Central Avenues on December 19. Robert Lee Richard, 200 East Ash, is free on 860 bonds after failing to appear in Bakersfield Municipal Court on a DUI charge. arrested in Shafter November 16, he was cited to appear December 19 and granted a change of venue.
