Maple School Presents Yuletide Play in Annual Program
Maple School staged a three act Christmas play The Little Boy Nobody Wanted as part of its annual Yuletide program on Monday. Karen Watson played the title role with Marilyn Schellenberg Regina Kliewer and Bruce Wiebe among the cast. The production featured a large group of students and was directed by Elmer with scenery changes and curtain pulls by Berse and aides.

Bruce Epp, seriously injured in a December 7 automobile crash on Central Valley Highway, is convalescing at his parents’ home after a week at Memorial hospital Kern General. His collarbone fracture will keep him confined. his wife escaped with bruises as Dan Smart, cited for drunken driving, was bound over to superior court.

Santa Claus Visits Minter Village Giant Children's Party
Dick Rhoades of Rhoades Manufacturing and his wife hosted a large Christmas party in their plant warehouse for nearly 200 children under 10 in Minter Village.
