Christmas Programs At Richland Grammar School
Two Christmas programs were presented by Richland grammar school pupils under teachers' direction in the school auditorium last Tuesday morning. Kindergarten through sixth grade performed songs, plays, and choirs from toy orchestras to carols, with the girls glee club singing "Little Town of Bethlehem" and the orchestra accompanying "Deck the Halls" and other selections.

Shafter High to Present Growing Pains Cast

Addition Under Way At Neumann Cafe In City
Construction starts Tuesday on a new 28 by 62 foot addition to the Neumann Cafe on Central avenue. The existing building will extend 62 feet, creating a 50 by 62 foot floor space with a stucco front.
