Christmas Tree Sale Boosts Local American Legion Fund
The American Legion opens its first year selling Christmas trees on a lot across from the Veterans Memorial Hall. About 1000 trees were delivered and quickly selling with volunteers running the office from a donated travel trailer. Proceeds go to Legion projects including support for a Boy's State representative Phillip Anderson and football program funding.
