Three Car Crash Closes Lerdo Highway Inhit and run
Three car collision Friday afternoon on Lerdo Highway near South Reiker Ave and Schwaidt Street closed the roadway for over an hour. A Ford Ecoline van running a stop sign hit a Chevrolet Silverado towing a trailer, flipping onto its side and becoming pinned to the Silverado. The Silverado driver was uninjured and the Astrovan driver sustained minor injuries and was treated at Mercy Southwest Hospital. The Ecoline driver fled the scene with witnesses helping from the vehicle.
