Remember Pearl Harbor Structure Bridges Over Arizona Hull
The article recalls the December 7 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor with waves of bombing sinking ships and the Nevada beaching itself. It notes no American aircraft carriers were present, the war shifting to a carrier era, and Midway delivering a major blow to Japan. It mentions Roosevelt's December 8 1941 Congress address and the ensuing declaration of war. A 1962 bridge-like structure over the Arizona hull memorializes those who died.
