Celebrant Singers to Perform Community Concert in Shafter
Jon Stemkoski’s Celebrant Singers will present a free community concert on Sunday August 29 1999 at 6 30 p.m. at Valley Bible Church 350 Pine St Shafter sponsored by the Shafter Ministerial Association. The show features 10 singers and a 12 piece orchestra with praise and worship personal testimony and gospel ministry.

Alejandro Zimnr Zimmerie a Navy Petty Officer third class and son of Simona Martinez of Shafter completed a five month deployment to the Western Pacific and Indian Oceans aboard the USS Kitty Hawk based in Yokosuka He departed the Arabian Gulf after port calls in Bahrain and three visits to the United Arab Emirates The Kitty Hawk aims to maintain a U S presence and rapid crisis response The 1994 Shafter High School graduate joined the Navy in July 1994.
