Shafter CCF administrator resigns to join Delano facility
Allan Walton, former Shafter CCF manager, will take over as administrator of the Delano CCF starting Sept. 1. Walton, a 53-year-old ex police officer and deputy sheriff with farming and contracting experience, has lived in Taft and plans to move closer to Delano. He notes a long career in law enforcement and says the city welcomes him to strengthen relations with staff and council.
