Knox trains for National Police Olympics discus and shot put
Shafter sergeant Gary Knox prepares for the August Police Olympics in Las Vegas after qualifying at Bakersfield. He trains at Shafter High School with Ralph Fruguglietti, a former Italian National Team member who aided Knox and recalled his own career including a 202 foot discus mark and USC scholarship. Fruguglietti says the coaching helps Knox improve at both events as he earned medals in Bakersfield.
